Február 20-ig 135-en szenvedtek fagyhalált Magyarországon – jelentette a Magyar Szociális Fórum pénteken a rendelkezésére álló adatok alapján. A szeptemberi hideg napoktól február 3-ig 101-en fagytak meg, azt követően pedig napi átlagban két embertársunk hűlt ki végzetesen.
de összességében továbbra is a fűtetlen lakásokban, illetve kórházba szállításuk közben és odaérkezésük után meghaltak vannak többségben. A fagyhalál elsősorban idős, beteg, magányos embereket ragadott magával, de akadt köztük huszonéves hajléktalan is – értesült az MSZFSZK.
A Fidesz-kormány úgy tesz, mintha semmi sem történne.
Hivatalos tájékoztatást nem adnak, a szociális rendszer pedig teljesen alkalmatlan arra, hogy megelőzzék a
fagyhalált. Tudomásunk szerint az MSZP már hét alkalommal tett javaslatot Fagyhalál Elleni Alap létrehozására a Parlamentben, de a Fidesz-KDNP még napirendre sem volt hajlandó venni a
kezdeményezést. Pedig amióta Orbán Viktor kormányoz, több mint 1300, vagyis egy
falunyi ember fagyott meg Magyarországon.
Fagyhalál Elleni Alap
Az MSZP korábbi elképzelése szerint a Fagyhalál Elleni Alap elsődleges bevételi forrása az állami tulajdonú energetikai társaságok éves adózott eredményének 50 százaléka lehetne. Támogatásban részesülhetne mindenki, akinek bejelentett lakása van és a családjában a kérelem benyújtását megelőző hónapban az egy főre jutó havi jövedelem nem haladta meg a minimálbér nettó összegét. Ugyancsak támogatásra jogosultak lennének a védett fogyasztók is.
A támogatások összege negyedévente 20 ezer és 50 ezer forint között lenne, de különleges esetben ez felmehet 100 ezer forintra is. A támogatásra való jogosultságot az önkormányzatok állapítanák meg.
A Fidesz nem is volt eddig hajlandó a javaslatról tárgyalni, pedig az emberek fagyhalála nem pártpolitika, hanem tragédia.
