Goebbelshez hasonlította Orbánt az ENSZ emberi jogi szakértője

Kemény hangvételű cikket jelentetett meg az ENSZ emberi jogi szakértője, korábbi miniszter Spanyolország legolvasottabb napilapjának, az El País online kiadásán, „Ezeknek az időknek a Goebbelsei” címmel. A lap szerkesztői pedig Orbán Viktort választották illusztrációnak, García-Sayan többször is említi a magyar kormányfőt írásában.
Egyre nagyobbak az intolerancia, az idegengyűlölet és a populizmus által vetetett fekete hullámok a világ különböző pontjain. Ezeknek a közös nevezője a hatalom megtartására irányuló propagandaeszközök, amelyek nagyban hasonlítanak a Goebbels által a múlt század harmincas éveiben indított hagyományokra – írja véleménycikkében a korábbi miniszter.
A jobboldali és a populista kormányok, például Orbán Magyarországon vagy a lengyel kormány a szektariánus és a kormányzati autoritarizmus jelképei, ezek Európában az 1930-as évek antiszemitizmusa óta nem ismertek – írja García-Sayan.
Példaként említi a magyar Stop Soros törvénycsomagot, a kormány menekültellenességét, azt, ahogy a civileket vegzálják, Lengyelországban az igazságszolgáltatás átszabásával példálózik.
A szakértő szerint ezek a rezsimek hatalmukat a nemzeti identitás erősítésével tartják meg, aminek alapja, hogy az állampolgárok biztonságát ígérik, kiegészítve egy brutális, goebbelsi propagandagépezettel – Duterte, Orbán és Kaczynski esetében egyaránt.
Aggódom, mert ebben a másodpercben úgy látom, semmi és senki nem tud ellenállni, nem látni az ellenállást, a demokrácia és az emberi jogok egyre inkább háttérbe szorulnak.
