Számos programra várják a családokat
Számos ingyenes program várja Budapesten az ünneplőket, a családokat csütörtökön, az 1848-49-es forradalom és szabadságharc kitörésének 170. évfordulóján.
A központi ünnepi rendezvényekkel kapcsolatos információk, köztük a közlekedési információk megtalálhatóak a marcius15.kormany.hu oldalon.
A budai Várban jellemzően 9 órakor kezdődnek a programok. A Dísz téren 9 órától 18 óráig magyar termelők és vendéglátósok várják a hazai finomságok vásárával az érdeklődőket. Ugyanott lesz térzene is: fellép a Budapest Helyőrség Zenekara, a Készenléti Rendőrség Zenekara, valamint a Pénzügyőr Zenekar is.
A Várkert Bazárban egész nap tartanak a rendezvények: lesznek kézműves foglalkozások, zenés és táncos programok, s irodalmi est is.
Hunyadi János lovasszobránál lósimogatóval, a Szent István-szobornál közlekedésbiztonsági játékokkal, míg Hadik András szobránál népzenével és néptánccal várják az érdeklődőket. A kalotaszegi táncot, székelyföldi táncot és a palotástáncot nemcsak nézni lehet, hanem meg is lehet tanulni a nemzeti ünnepen.
A Szentháromság téren 10 órától koncertek és gyermekprogramok lesznek, a Táncsics-börtönben különböző vetélkedőkön, kézműves foglalkozásokon lehet részt venni.
A Hadtörténeti Intézet és Múzeumban idén is Forradalmi forgatag címmel rendezik meg az ünnepi programokat. Ott is lesz táncház, színházi előadást, csatabemutatót is tartanak, ágyúlövés is lesz.
A Magyar Nemzeti Levéltár Országos Levéltárában a kétszáz éve született Görgei (Görgey) Artúr egykori honvédtábornok és hadügyminiszter életét, az 1848-49-es forradalom és szabadságharcban betöltött szerepét lehet megismerni.
A Budapesti Történeti és Vármúzeumban 10 órakor kezdődnek a programok, történelmi sétával és tárlatvezetéssel várják az érdeklődőket.
Csütörtöktől húsvétig lehet megtekinteni a Szépművészeti Múzeum felújított Román csarnokát, amelyet több mint hetven év után láthatnak újra az érdeklődők. A csaknem 900 négyzetméter alapterületű, egy középkori bazilika belső terét megidéző terem falfestményeinek megújításán egy éven át mintegy 70 restaurátor dolgozott, akik 2500 négyzetméter falfelületet varázsoltak újjá. A csarnokot ingyenesen lehet megtekinteni.
A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban egy feltételezhetően 1848/1849-es magyar nemzetőrről készült korabeli dagerrotípiát állítanak ki március 25-ig. A múzeumba a belépés csütörtökön ingyenes.
A Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeumban bárki kipróbálhatja Landerer és Heckenast nyomdagépét, készíthet ünnepi hajfonatot, emellett megnyílik az Ország(h), város, híres ember. Arany János és a fényképezés című kiállítás is.
