Május 9-e, a bűvös nap?

(Európában ezen a napon ért véget a második világháború.

1945. április 25-én az amerikai és a szovjet csapatok találkoztak az Elbánál. Április 30-án a Berlint ostromló szovjet erők elfoglalták a Reichstagot, Hitler öngyilkos lett. Május 8-án a III. Birodalom kapitulált, a német haderő feltétel nélkül letette a fegyvert. Május 9-én a szovjet hadsereg elérte Prágát, ezzel az európai hadszíntéren A MÁSODIK VILÁGHÁBORÚ VÉGET ÉRT, amely milliókat tett földönfutóvá, országokat és városokat rombolt le és közel 60 millió embert pusztított el.

Május 9-én így a fasizmus felett aratott győzelemről emlékeznek meg világszerte, mely Európában egyben a Béke napja is. (forrás))

Orbán megsúgta…?

Ferenc pápa az interjú során leszögezte: a béke érdekében kész találkozni Moszkvában Vlagyimir Putyinnal, és elárulta, hogy hajlandóságát már jelezte is az orosz elnök felé.

„Amikor már húsz napja tartott a háború, megkértem Parolin bíborost, hogy adja át az orosz elnöknek az üzenetem, miszerint hajlandó vagyok elmenni hozzá Moszkvába”

– idézte fel Ferenc pápa, aki azonban egyelőre nem kapott választ, de úgy véli,

Putyin nem akarja ezt a találkozót.

Ferenc pápa a beszélgetés során megemlítette Orbán Viktort is

Elmondta, hogy amikor április végén találkozott vele, a magyar kormányfő azt mondta neki:

az oroszoknak van egy tervük, mely szerint május 9-én véget vetnek a háborúnak.

Ferenc pápa – bár pesszimista a terv megvalósulását illetően – reméli, hogy ez valóban így lesz.

„Minden lehetséges gesztust meg kell tennünk a háború megállítása érdekében”.
